This is a great video test of the Range Rover Evoque by Top Gear Magazine’s Tom Ford.  The summary is after their long term test drive of 15,000 miles.

Being named 2011 Car of the Year by Top Gear Magazine means this little Range Rover has surpassed some pretty high expectations. Unfortunately, this small sized SUV was built to follow the trend of smaller, more fuel efficient utilities on the road.  From the get go, the Evoque was destined to be called a “ladies car” since the design efforts were with Victoria Beckham.  A great choice for design input, but not the person you would figure to design a car for Land Rover, a brand with a tough image.

Although the luxury of the Range Rovers of late have made the Land Rover lineup slightly more sophisticated, this video nicely disproves the chick car title which it does not deserve.  It has not been bred to be just a city car, it can handle the elements like all Land Rovers should.
